Dr. Angel examines your mouth and jaw with three dimensional imaging and you leave with a written plan listing every stage and fee, plus what your insurance will contribute.
Implant placement
The area is numbed and the titanium post is placed in the jawbone as the new root. A single implant usually takes about an hour in the chair, and most patients are back to normal within a day or two.
Healing, then your new tooth
Over the following months the bone fuses to the post. Then the abutment is attached, the shade is matched to your neighboring teeth and the custom crown is fitted and adjusted until your bite feels natural.

What does the $399 a month cover?
The monthly plan covers a complete single tooth: the implant post, the abutment and the crown, from $399 a month on approved credit. The exact monthly amount and term come from the financing application, and Dr. Angel confirms your full plan and price at the consultation.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care and regular dental visits, implants can last decades and often a lifetime. The crown on top typically lasts 10 to 15 years or more.
Is implant placement painful?
Most patients report minimal discomfort. The area is numbed with local anesthesia, the sensation is pressure rather than pain, and mild soreness for a few days afterwards is normal.
How long does the whole process take?
Most cases take several months from placement to the final crown because the post needs time to fuse with the bone. Cases with extractions or bone grafting take longer, and the 3D scan at your first visit puts real dates on your plan.
Can I get the implant the same day my tooth is removed?
In favorable cases, yes. When the scan shows healthy bone and no infection the implant can be placed at the same visit as the extraction. Otherwise the site heals for a few months first.
Will I need a bone graft?
Only if the jawbone has thinned where the tooth is missing. A graft rebuilds the site and adds a few months of healing. Your 3D scan shows whether you need one.
Does insurance or Denti-Cal cover implants?
Many dental plans cover part of the treatment, such as the crown or a portion of the surgery. Denti-Cal generally does not cover dental implants for adults. The office checks exactly what your plan includes.
Do you see patients in Spanish?
